Every August, CAIF sponsors a Welcome Reception at Clemson University's Alumni Center inviting new international students to meet local community people who are interested in being Host Friends to the international visitor.

Alumni Center is in the same building as the Visitor's Center and the location is below the Clemson House. Alumni Center is on the corner of Sherman and Daniel Drive off of Highway 93 (Greenville Highway) .
